The OPWC Street Project that has been in the works for a few years has finally been approved. Due to the pandemic OPWC postponed awards until the legislature appropriated funds for this year’s awards. The actual construction may not take place until the spring of 2021 due to the award being so late this summer. We will keep you updated. This project is to repair and pave Sceva, Pleasant, and Locust Street. We were able to fund the paving of Prospect St this summer with the Levy funds and expect the construction to begin in the next couple of weeks. You played a large part in making this happen with the passage of the Street Levy.
