Due to the High School playoff game at 7:30pm on Saturday October 31, Trick or Treat will be from 4-6pm, rain or shine at your own risk.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the Community Clean up and scheduled yard sales for April and May will be postponed indefinitely. Annual June Community Yard Sale is on hold for now. New dates will be determined as we follow recommendations from our Governor Mike DeWine and Health Departments.

Lyndsey Murphy resigned her Council seat on February 17, 2020. Please submit Resumes to the Village Office by 5pm Friday, March 6, 2020. You must reside in the Village limits for at least one year prior to being considered for the position. Interviews will be held on Monday March 9, 2020 beginning at 6pm. Council will contact the applicants with a time.
An application session is taking place at the Champaign County Library on Thursday, January 23rd from 10am-12pm. Pre-registration is required by calling (567) 455-9240.
Mechanicsburg Christmas in the Village kicks off at 8am on Saturday, December 14th and continues with events all day and evening long! The parade through town starts at 2 pm!
The Mechanicsburg Village Council will hold a work session on Monday, December 9th at 6pm at the Municipal Building 18 N. Main St.
The Mechanicsburg Lion’s Club will hold it’s traditional “Meet the Candidates Night” at the Mechanicsburg Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 29th at 7pm. Local candidates for Mayor, Village Council, Mechanicsburg School Board, Goshen Township Trustee and Fire Department Levy, Library Levy and Maple Grove Cemetery will be on the Agenda.
