Dear Residents,
The Village will be conducting a smoke test of the sewer system throughout the community on April 27th and 28th. During this time, you may see smoke in various areas of the Village. This testing is being conducted in preparation for Phase One of the sewer project, which is scheduled to begin this summer. You may also experience smoke inside your property if there are uncapped sewer lines or dried-up floor drains. We recommend performing a visual inspection of your home to check for these conditions prior In many cases, this issue can be resolved by simply adding water to floor drains. If you notice smoke inside your property, please contact the Village Water Department at 937-834-3187 to report the issue. Thank you for your continued cooperation as we work to improve the Village’s infrastructure.

There will be a special council meeting held this Saturday, following the Planning Commission meeting on 3/28/26 at 9:30 AM.
There will be a Safety Meeting on April 13th @ 6:30 PM.

Also, there will be a finance committee meeting 11-25-25 @ 6:30 PM. There will be a safety committee meeting held on 11/10/25 @ 6:30 PM.
There will be a Village of Mechanicsburg BZA Meeting @ 6:00PM on Tuesday, Oct 28th. Also, ORD 25-09 was passed by emergency last night, Oct. 20th.
There will be a BZA Meeting on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 @ 6pm to discuss a variance request regarding setback requirements for a porch structure built at 33 N. Locust St.
