The Village of Mechanicsburg will be accepting applications for the Village Fiscal Officer until May 6th at 4 PM. This position will be part-time with the possibly of full time. Read a full position description below.
 The Village of Mechanicsburg will be holding its annual Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Street Department Building located at 64 Mill Street.
This is a valuable opportunity for village residents to dispose of unwanted household items, construction materials, furniture, and more. Proof of address is required to participate, and the service is strictly limited to village residents--no commercial contractors will be permitted. Important Guidelines:
For residents needing to dispose of hazardous materials, items can be dropped off at: Union County Recyclers 15140 St Rt 36, Marysville, OH Phone: (888) 642-4578 As part of the community-wide effort, a Free Garage Sale Weekend will also take place on June 6, 7, and 8. This is a great chance to sell or give away reusable items before disposal. Let’s all do our part to keep Mechanicsburg clean and beautiful! There will be a public meeting to discuss ORD 25-05 about food trucks in the village. The meeting will be Monday, April 21, 2025 @ 6PM at 18 N. Main Street.
There will be a meeting of the Mechanicsburg Village Planning Commission at 8:00 am on Saturday January 25th in the Village Hall Meeting Room.
There is an open seat for the Board of Zoning Appeals. Anyone interested in this position will need to drop off a resume to 18 N Main St before 5 PM on 12/27/24.
There will be a special meeting held to discuss rates and fees on Monday, 11/25/24 at 6:30 PM.
There will be a work session for Council on Monday, 10/28/24. The public is welcome to attend. 6:30 PM.
The Public Meeting on Oct. 7th has been cancelled. The aggregation information will not be on the ballot this November.There will be a public meeting on 10/7/24 @ 5:30 PM @ 18 N. Main St. to discuss the aggregation that is on the ballot. This will be chance for the public to ask questions about the proposal.
