The village is requesting help from residents to complete this mandatory survey from the EPA. All the residents will be receiving this letter/and survey. The village is requesting the surveys back by August 15, 2024. 
The Village of Mechanicsburg will be flushing fire hydrants from July 1-3.
Flushing is done to remove sediment from the pipes in order to maintain water clarity and quality in the distribution pipes. Your water is safe to drink. Occasionally, water becomes discolored after hydrant flushing. If this happens, run your cold water tap for a few minutes until the water clears. If it doesn't clear the first time, wait a few minutes and run the water again. You should avoid washing clothes until the water clears. A Village of Mechanicsburg tax budget meeting will be held at 6pm on Monday, 6/17/24.
Mechanicsburg's Community Yard Sales are always the 1st full weekend in June (Friday and Saturday from 8am-5pm). In 2024, those dates are Friday, June 7th and 8th.

Water project update! All the water services are hooked into the new main line. The crews are working on removing all the old curb stops and fire hydrants. Weather permitting, the crews will begin prepping for sidewalk restoration next week on West Sandusky. Please anticipate alternate parking options as the new sidewalks cross your driveways. Thanks again for your cooperation. There will be a Committee meeting on April 29th at 6:30 pm to discuss Ord. 12-09 this will pertain to Water Bill procedures.

ODOT will be replacing the bridge on St Rt 29 near Heritage Cooperative. The Road will close on May 28, 2024, and reopening on August 22,2024. Thanks again for your cooperation. Mechanicsburg's annual plant sale will be Saturday, May 11th from 9am-12pm. This will take place at the gazebo next to the fire house. This will be a rain or shine event. Additional parking is in the rear.
