Water project update! All the water services are hooked into the new main line. The crews are working on removing all the old curb stops and fire hydrants. Weather permitting, the crews will begin prepping for sidewalk restoration next week on West Sandusky. Please anticipate alternate parking options as the new sidewalks cross your driveways. There will be a Committee meeting on April 29th at 6:30 pm to discuss Ord. 12-09 this will pertain to Water Bill procedures.

ODOT will be replacing the bridge on St Rt 29 near Heritage Cooperative. The Road will close on May 28, 2024, and reopening on August 22,2024. Thanks again for your cooperation.  Dear residents,

Service switch overs will continue next week for the residents on Willow St/Darby View Mobile Home Park. This will include a boil advisory. Thanks again for your cooperation. Mechanicsburg's annual plant sale will be Saturday, May 11th from 9am-12pm. This will take place at the gazebo next to the fire house. This will be a rain or shine event. Additional parking is in the rear.

The Village of Mechanicsburg will be flushing fire hydrants next week (4/8/24) throughout the village. Dear Residents,
There will be multiple road closures or restricted lanes on Walnut and W Race St next week, 3/18/24. The contractors will boring the new water services and connecting them. They will also be tree/stump removal on W Sandusky, W Race and Main St. The police dept will be putting out no parking signs this Sunday. The village of Mechanicsburg will be completing smoke testing of the sewer lines at Darby View Estates on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Residents could possibly see smoke from this test. They are encouraged to let the water dept know about the issues by calling (937) 834-3187. |
